Help Siddhant keep the children in classroom

Have you ever paid attention to the kids living on the footpaths?

They have dirty hair, shabby clothes, crooked teeth and many look thin and malnourished. This is just a little glimpse of the major sanitation crisis that has taken hold of our country.

According to a survey, 56% of India’s population doesn’t have access to basic sanitation facilities. Open defecation is a prevalent problem in the rural area of India. This issue has severe medical and social consequences. The prevalence rate of diorama and anemia shoots up with decreased household sanitation in the area.

Apart from a lack of good health, poor sanitation facilities make women and young girls more vulnerable to sexual harassment. It’s a sad truth, but many lives would have been saved and left unbroken only if they had better sanitation facilities.

Giving a penny won’t be a solution to this massive problem. It’s high time we realize that the need of the hour is to bring about a change in the living conditions of the people living in slums. Your funds would give us the resource to reach out to the roots and help them improve the sanitation standards of the underprivileged. At UPAY, we believe in the holistic development of the needy. Enhancing sanitation standards is one important aspect that is underdeveloped. With your resources and our dedication, a positive change can be brought up.
